We are looking for a Junior IT Support Desk Technician (Co-op) to join our growing team. If you're a current student who’s passionate about technology, enjoys solving real-world problems, and wants hands-on experience in a fun, client-focused environment—we want to hear from you!

At AOS, you’ll learn from experienced professionals, work on meaningful support challenges, and be part of a team that puts people and values first.

As a Junior Support Desk Technician (Co-op), you’ll gain hands-on experience as the first point of contact on our helpdesk team—providing friendly, reliable IT support to clients via phone and email. You’ll assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, documenting solutions, and helping deliver a smooth, client-focused support experience. It’s a great opportunity to build real-world skills, grow your technical knowledge, and work alongside a supportive, experienced team.

You will collaborate with our team to gain hands-on experience with advanced tools, systems, and real-world IT problem-solving. This co-op role is ideal for a student with a strong interest in technology and a solid foundation in IT, who’s excited to learn, grow, and explore what a future career in tech could look like—starting right here at AOS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common problems with Windows, Microsoft 365, peripherals, and basic networking
  • Log all support activities, fixes, and steps clearly in our PSA and IT Glue
  • Help improve documentation and support processes by contributing to internal knowledge and resources
  • Work collaboratively with the team, focusing on quick, high-quality responses
  • Escalate more complex or unresolved issues when needed
  • Assist with setup and deployment of client systems, including updates and configurations

Skills And Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree or diploma program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts such as operating systems, networking, and common software applications (Windows, Microsoft 365, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a curiosity to learn and troubleshoot real-world issues
  • Clear communication skills and a friendly, client-focused approach
  • Ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
