Job summary

Kasian is seeking a Junior Interior Designer for our Toronto office. You will support senior designers across the project lifecycle, from concept development to drawings, material research, and client presentations.

This entry-level role blends creativity with technical execution using Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. Ideal candidates hold a CIDA-accredited Interior Design degree, have about 2 years of experience, and are pursuing NCIDQ certification.

Qualifications

• CIDA-accredited Degree in Interior Design
• 2 years of interior design experience
• Working towards obtaining NCIDQ certification
• Technical drawing experience with Revit and AutoCAD
• Excellent graphic communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of furniture systems

Responsibilities

• Work directly with senior team members on the design process, including creating design concepts and presentation material
• Prepare colour and material boards, layouts, sketches, 3d renderings, and space plans required to convey design intent
• Produce design and contract documentation in alignment with Kasian’s standards of quality, client program and budget needs
• Contribute to design, production, and visioning meetings
• Attend meetings and communicate with clients alongside an intermediate or senior designer as required
• Meet and develop relationships with product reps
• Provide product research and selection

We are looking for a talented and creative individual to support our exciting portfolio of stand-alone and integrated projects. At the junior level, our Interior Designers are exposed to all aspects of the project process, from conceptual design to producing drawings, researching materials, and presentations.
