St. Albert Public Schools in St. Albert invites applications for a Junior High French Immersion Teacher at Hillgrove School for the 2026-2027 school year.

The position is a 1.0 FTE temporary assignment beginning in October 2026. Responsibilities include Grade 9 French Immersion homeroom, Grade 8–9 French Language Arts, and Late French Immersion Language Arts with French Social Studies; join Soccer Academy duties as needed.

Qualifications

• A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills.
• French Immersion teaching experience preferred.
• Candidate needs to be language proficient in French and English.
• DALF C1 or equivalent preferred.
• Commitment to a positive school culture & building community.
