Qualifications

  • Education in forestry or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license required.
  • Experience within the forestry field considered an asset.

Cabin Resource Management Ltd. has built a foundation of experience and dedication to quality and innovative solutions in forestry, heritage, wildfire planning, and resource analysis. We are currently looking to add a Junior Forest Technician to our forestry team for Fall 2025.

Responsibilities:
  • GPS and field data collection, troubleshooting, and management
  • Assist with timber cruising
  • Road and cut block traversing and surveying
  • This position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions
What we are looking for:
  • A proven commitment to safety
  • A passion for forestry and the ability to be an excellent team member
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Education in forestry with a Forestry Tech Diploma, Forestry Degree, Natural Resource and Environmental Science Degree, RPF or RFT designation, and/or experience within the forestry field is preferred
  • All other forestry experience is considered an asset
