Job DescriptionThis member of the Finance Department will:
- Be responsible for extracting, analyzing, reconciling and assisting in the interpretation of financial and other statistical data.
- Complete assignments using knowledge of accounting principles and will review and analyze data and generate reports as required.
Responsibilities:- Assist in conducting the yearly School-Generated Funds Audits.
- Assist in the preparation of the financial analysis for internal and external reporting.
- Assist with financial projections and reporting.
- Provide support and assist with Board budget process and preparation of related financial reports.
- Review and analyze Board budget and School Generated Fund accounts and transactions to ensure proper application of Board policies and procedures.
- Assist in other areas of Corporate Services.
Qualifications:Applicants should possess:
- Working towards a University degree in Business Administration with a focus on accounting and finance.
- Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial and analytical skills for data evaluation and problem solving; high degree of financial accuracy and high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of and proficient use of MS Office software (in particular Excel, Word and Access).

Hours of Work: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily
Salary: $17.20/hour
