Position: Junior Financial Analyst
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (Hybrid)
Type: Permanent Full-Time (40 hours)
In this role, you will:
- Assist with management reporting of the consolidated financial results
- Assist with detailed budget reviews of larger departmental stakeholders
- Prepare monthly financial analyses and reports such as variance analysis, price-volume-mix analysis, departmental financial reports, business unit reports, cost analysis, and brand reports
- Consolidate budget submissions and ensure budgets are in line with corporate goals and initiatives
- Assist with maintaining the company’s financial reporting software (OneStream)
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
- Entry-level experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, taxation, or treasury; fresh graduates who have co-op/internship experiences are also welcome
- General understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE), and the Canadian tax environment
- Plan to pursue/pursuing a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
- Prior experience with Corporate Performance management systems (OneStream, Hyperion, Anaplan) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Syspro) is an asset
