Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts payable - vendor management and communication, monitor AP inbox, ensure proper flow of invoices through AP, and process payments in a timely manner.
2. Invoicing and accounts receivable - receive and record payments and make bank deposits.
3. Banking – monitor balances of business and personal accounts and complete transfers.
4. Diarize monthly and other recurring payments.
5. Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and journal entries.
6. Support the Financial Accountant with other tasks, as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma, preferably in accounting.
2. 1-2 years of experience with accounts payable and cash.
3. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
4. Experience with Sage 300 and Beanworks (or other AP automation software) is an asset.
5. Exceptional people skills (collaborator, problem solver).
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Ability to prioritize workload and multitask at the same time.
8. Perform with a high level of integrity and authenticity.
