Job summary

Groupe Dynamite Inc. is seeking a Junior Designer in Montréal to support design development for lifestyle and brand. The role involves staying current with trends and product novelty to expand style options and assist in an omni-channel transformation.

Responsibilities include creating styles, participating in trend ideation, developing 3D samples, managing development calendars, and updating linesheets. French or English required for daily supplier and team communication.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma, DEC or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design.
• 0 to 1 year of experience in technical sketches.
• Detailed oriented, self-motivated.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Sound judgement and a good understanding of trends and the garment industry.
• Available to travel (if necessary).
• French or English is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Create styles for specific COE/ collections increasing options to the vision/brief for lifestyle.
• Participate in trend ideas and product novelty.
• Participate in developing best in class samples(3D) to support lifestyle.
• Keep on top of development calendar and approvals, support each collection.
• Update development linesheet.
• Train in 3D design.
• Participate in style ideas for specific commodity while learning C-41 and deliverables.
