Full Job Description

We are currently welcoming applications for a full-time Junior Estimator/Project Manager capable of fulfilling the following requirements:

Job Description Responsibilities
  1. Reviewing drawings, specifications, project documents, and site conditions to prepare quantity and scope takeoffs for projects of small to medium scale.
  2. Assembling relevant takeoffs into detailed project estimates for bidding purposes.
  3. Daily scheduling of resources and field supervision of construction activities to ensure projects are completed within budget and in accordance with relevant specifications.
  4. Ensuring all work is completed in a productive and safe manner.
  5. Daily production and cost reporting to direct supervisors and senior management, as required.
Skills & Other Requirements
  • Various other coordination and management functions, as necessary.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of heavy civil construction operations and processes is strongly preferred.
  • An ambitious individual with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Must demonstrate effective organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive work attitude with an overall eagerness to learn.
  • Valid Class G driver's license.
Education

A University Degree or College Diploma in Civil Engineering is preferred, but not a requirement.
