Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. invites applications for a Jr. Estimator focused on High Voltage Transmission projects within our Utilities sector.

You will assist in estimating labour, equipment and materials, and support tender submissions under Senior supervision. Ideal candidates are EITs or new graduates with an electrical background, familiar with estimating methods, and willing to travel to project sites and owner offices as required.

Qualifications

• EIT / new graduate with an electrical background.
• Lump Sum, Unit rate, EPC, budgetary and MSA estimating experience is desirable.
• Willingness to travel to owner offices, work sites and pre-tender reviews.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pricing for labour, equipment, material, rentals and subcontracts.
• Review documents, drawings, specifications and quotations for pricing.
• Coordinate pricing with Suppliers/Subcontractors and with Procurement.
• Assist with Prequalification, RFQ and RFI submissions as required.
