Job summary

Altis Technology is seeking an organized Expeditor/Logistics Coordinator to join a busy automotive manufacturing team in Newmarket, Ontario. You will coordinate supplier deliveries, monitor shipments, and resolve issues to keep production flowing smoothly.

The role requires 3 years in manufacturing or logistics, strong Excel and SAP experience, and excellent communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, supply chain, or related field.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills; an Excel assessment is required.
• Experience using SAP or another ERP/MRP system is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Experience with customs documentation, import/export processes, or CVSA reporting is an asset.
• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business Administration, IT, or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, carriers, and drivers.
• Monitor supplier deliveries and follow up to ensure materials arrive on schedule.
• Communicate shipment updates and escalate issues when required.
• Maintain purchasing and logistics information within SAP and other internal systems.
• Prepare reports and analyze data related to inventory, supplier performance, and logistics activities.
• Support customs documentation and trade compliance activities as needed.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouse, and Operations teams to keep production running efficiently.

About the Role

We're looking for an organized and proactive Expeditor/Logistics Coordinator to join a busy automotive manufacturing team. In this role, you'll help ensure the right materials and parts arrive on time so production can continue without interruption. Working closely with Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouse, and Operations, you'll coordinate supplier deliveries, monitor shipments, and resolve issues before they impact production.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and communicating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
