Vertex is seeking a Junior Environmental Technician to support soil salvage, placement and monitoring in Alberta, working with contractors and ensuring environmental compliance within mine settings.
You will assist with field data, soil classification and maps, and grow into responsibilities as the project evolves. Alberta-based positions include Sherwood Park or Fort McMurray locations with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Vertex is currently accepting applications for Contract Term Position as Junior Environmental Technicians to join our team. The successful candidate must have previous experience with environmental monitoring and a strong understanding of soil salvage. This position will be required to work closely with contractors while monitoring activities and ensuring environmental regulations are being complied with at all times.
