A pioneering engineering firm in Calgary is seeking a Junior Environmental Engineer or Scientist to support a variety of environmental assessments. This role includes conducting site investigations, collaborating with technical professionals, and assisting in the development of remediation strategies. The ideal candidate should have a relevant degree, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license. Qualifications

• Completion of a post-secondary program in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Civil / Geological Engineering with an environmental focus.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers license.
• Comfortable driving mid to full-sized pickup trucks in urban, rural, and construction environments.
• Proficiency with spoken and written English language is required.
• Demonstrated experience delivering technical site investigations and remediation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and contaminated site investigations.
• Work with other technical professionals and subcontractors to execute remedial options.
• Assist in the development of detailed scopes of work and cost estimates.
• Liaise with field staff and technical discipline leaders.
• Support the project team in the analysis and preparation of technical reports.
