Seeking an Emission Testing Professional to lead and perform air emission stack testing projects pursuant to Canadian and US EPA methods and procedures, both locally and abroad.

What you will do at WSP:
  1. Pursue emissions testing opportunities in Ontario and internationally.
  2. Prepare quotations following WSP standards.
  3. Coordinate with clients and governments to develop testing programs.
  4. Manage budgets and health and safety requirements.
  5. Oversee training needs and possibly supervise junior staff.
  6. Conduct field testing with travel, projects lasting from 2 days to 3 weeks.
  7. Work long hours and weekends when required.
  8. Work at heights on stacks, rooftops, scaffolds, lifts, etc.
  9. Climb ladders; working outdoors in various weather conditions is necessary.
  10. Handle chemicals and heavy equipment (lifting up to 50 lbs).
  11. Process data in Excel and prepare reports in Word and PDF.
What you bring to WSP:
  • Degree or diploma in chemistry, engineering, environmental sciences, or related fields.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PDF software.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with work-related travel.
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Experience driving a van with a trailer is a plus.
