Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat en génie électrique et membre de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Bilingue (anglais et français) avec des compétences en gestion de projet.

Your future role on our team

By joining our team, you’ll be asked to help with the various stages of project execution, including proposals, site surveys, the design and drafting of technical reports and final delivery to the site. You’ll benefit from BBA’s network of recognized experts to support you in completing your mandates and in your professional development.

You’ll also be responsible for ensuring quality professional services and maintaining strong client relationships.

Your future role on our team

  • Participate in executing detailed engineering projects in the power industry
  • Design and read schematics and plans
  • Draft technical documents, calculation notes, specifications and study reports
  • Participate in project management (execution, costs, schedules)
  • Attend internal or client coordination meetings
  • Perform site surveys
  • Monitor site work
  • Help commission substation equipment

Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Available to travel across our BBA offices across Canada
  • Available for short-term (mandatory) and long-term (asset) assignments with our clients in Québec and the rest of Canada
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Asset: knowledge of ETAP, EasyPower, CYME or EMTP-RV software
  • Asset: knowledge of HV/MV/LV power systems
  • Asset: a diploma from the Institut en génie de l’énergie électrique (IGEE)
