Englobe is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team working on building and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or early-career engineer aiming to grow technically and gain hands-on consulting experience.

You'll contribute to power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and emergency systems, develop deliverables in AutoCAD and Revit, and participate in site visits and cross-discipline coordination.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or eligible for registration.
• 0-4 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit; AGi32, SKM PowerTools, or similar software is considered an asset.
• Understanding of Canadian electrical codes, standards, and engineering principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the design of electrical systems for commercial, institutional, municipal, and industrial projects.
• Support the preparation of electrical drawings, calculations, specifications, and contract documents.
• Contribute to the design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, communications, and emergency power systems.
• Develop design deliverables using AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering software.
• Participate in field investigations, site visits, and condition assessments.
• Coordinate project requirements with mechanical, structural, civil, and environmental disciplines.
• Assist with reviewing drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
• Support construction administration activities, including site reviews and contractor inquiries.
• Contribute to technical reports, studies, feasibility assessments, and project documentation.
• Promote Englobe's health and safety culture while maintaining a commitment to quality and client service.

• 0-4 years of relevant engineering experience;
• Interest in building electrical systems, municipal infrastructure, or industrial facilities;
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit; experience with AGi32, SKM PowerTools, or similar software is considered an asset;
• Understanding of Canadian electrical codes, standards, and engineering principles;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
