Junior Drafting Technician/Technologist

The Junior Environmental Drafting Technician/Technologist role involves preparing 2D plans for environmental site investigations, including site layouts, cross-sections, compiling site plans for remediation, and creating graphic presentations for feasibility studies and proposals. This position offers hybrid work options and various office locations.

Location: Calgary, AB / North York, ON / Winnipeg, MB / Vaughan, ON / Montréal, QC

The ideal candidate:
  • Field of study in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Surveying, Architecture, or Landscape Design.
  • Completed post-secondary education in a related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with LiDAR/point cloud data is a plus.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D 2020 or later.
  • Experience with Surfer, Pathfinder Office, MicroStation, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong AutoCAD skills (version 2020+), self-starter attitude, and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, with good time management.
  • Knowledge of environmental sciences is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; French is a plus.
  • Eligible for federal reliability clearance and able to work across time zones.
