Job summary

The North West Company is seeking a Junior Developer Intern to support the modernization of legacy applications using a modern tech stack including Python, Oracle, and SQL Server, with AI tools to generate and refine code. You will collaborate with the application team and report to the Director of Enterprise Software Development.

Status - Regular Full-time Term (Upto 4 months)

In your role as Junior Developer Intern at The North West Company (NWC), you will provide support in the modernization of legacy applications using modern technologies and AI tools. You will develop, test, deploy, and support applications using Python, Oracle, and/or SQL Server while collaborating with technical and business teams.

• Basic understanding of IT concepts, including hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal customers at all levels.
