Role Summary
We are looking for a Junior Cloud Platform Engineer to join our agile squads and support the delivery of secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about cloud technologies and eager to grow their skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and architects to help build and maintain cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and support continuous delivery pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure using automation tools.
- Support CI/CD pipeline operations and help troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with team members across disciplines.
- Learn and apply security and compliance best practices in cloud environments.
- Monitor system performance and assist in resolving incidents.
- Continuously develop technical skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Basic understanding of Linux/Windows systems, networking, and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates) is a plus.
- Interest in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Exposure to container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Awareness of monitoring tools and cloud security concepts.
- Participation in open-source projects, internships, or cloud-related coursework.
