MPE is currently seeking multiple Junior Civil - Water Resource Engineer positions to join our team in Saskatoon. Due to recent project acquisitions, we are expanding to meet increased demand.

Your Main Responsibilities

  1. Perform general project engineering duties under the supervision of a Professional Engineer;
  2. Work with the project team to prepare reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents;
  3. Complete preliminary engineering studies and assessments, including hydrology modelling, hydraulic modelling, dam safety, preliminary design, and cost estimating;
  4. Complete engineering design including pumping systems, pipelines, open channel systems, hydraulic structures, earthworks, concrete, and steel;
  5. Perform construction administration, coordination, and supervision duties;
  6. Work closely with clients to ensure project objectives are met;
  7. Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules.

What Makes You Unique

  1. Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university;
  2. 0-4 years of experience;
  3. Registered or eligible for registration with APEGS;
  4. Strong communication skills;
  5. Aptitude for construction methods; field experience is a plus;
  6. Experience with design software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, PCSWMM, WaterCAD, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D is an asset;
  7. Class 5 Driver’s License and personal vehicle for out-of-town work;
  8. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
