What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide design support for various infrastructure and land development projects including municipal engineering, road works, utility and facility upgrades using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Assist in the preparation of approval, tender, and contract documents
  • Complete field inspections to monitor the quality and progress of the work being performed
  • Prepare and adhere to site-specific health and safety plans
  • Work with other team members to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are achieved and maintained

What You’ll Bring

  • Familiarity working with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Relevant University degree in Civil Engineering
  • Related industry experience is an asset
  • Construction related experience an asset
  • Registration in good standing as a member in training or professional status in British Columbia, or immediately eligible to be registered

What Can We Offer You

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 per annum. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual’s education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The posted base salary/wage range is representative of the required level of qualifications and experience for the position as noted in the job posting. The salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
