AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Junior Buyer in Canada to manage procurement of high-volume, low-dollar catalogue items for multiple projects. You will create procurement packages, issue change orders, interface with project teams, and expeditie non-complex goods.

The role offers a hybrid work environment and opportunities for mentorship from senior buyers. Ideal candidates have a graduate degree and 3–5 years of buying experience, with knowledge of procurement processes and project coordination

• Minimum Buyer experience and knowledge.
• Procurement or Project coordination an asset.

Overview

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Junior Buyer is responsible for the procurement of goods, high volume/low dollar catalogue items for various projects and business units.

Your role

• Create and Issue non-complex Procurement packages, including Best Commercial, low level QA program requirements, Catalogue and Credit Card purchasing.
• Create and Issue Change Orders.
• Interface with Project Team and Requesters.
• Expediting of non-complex goods and services.
• Requires Procurement Mentor by Senior Buyers/Leads.
