Reporting to Manager, Mobile Patron Server, the Junior Backend Developer - Golang ’s primary mandate is to manage the installment and delivery of server for assigned property including support and troubleshooting any issues.

Responsibilities

Specify, design, architect, implement, test, deploy, and support mobile app solutions

Develop and deploy robust and resilient mobile app servers while maintaining and expanding existing servers for the Mobile App platform

Build data services and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new and innovative features for future releases

Monitor and debug API connections from casino to mobile app

Understand customer technical architecture, install Patron Server, perform system integrations, and assist in technical conversations with customers, providing solutions that satisfy customer needs

Provide technical assistance to customer-facing teams (Customer Success, Sales, etc.) as needed

Implement solutions with Linux (Golang, MySQL) stack, and connect them to Enterprise CRM and operation management systems

Actively lead discussions with customer IT teams and staff to ensure proper API usage

Balance new implementations with maintenance / troubleshooting existing installations while improving the core infrastructure and code base

Travel up to 10% may be required

Qualifications

Accredited education in computer science or similar fields (or equivalent experience)

Strong experience developing in a Golang environment

Strong knowledge of the Golang ecosystem and experience writing code for REST systems in that environment

Experience with common server-side technologies (e.g., MySQL, SQLite) and virtual server experience (e.g., AWS, Azure, Rackspace) a plus

Proven experience in Quality Assurance
