Job summary

BDO Brandon is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the Assurance team for a May 2027 start. In this role you will support the preparation of working papers and financial statements, gather evidence, and build client relationships while contributing to business development efforts.

You will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality work and develop professionally within a people-first culture that supports CPA progression and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or diploma and CPA prerequisites.
• Desire to provide outstanding client service and teamwork.
• Proven leadership and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge from courses to carry out projects and assignments.
• Prepare and complete working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements.
• Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
• Build positive client relationships and respond to requests and suggestions.
• Participate in business development initiatives and identify new opportunities with existing clients.
• Communicate progress and issues with the team on an ongoing basis.
