RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).
Position summary
The incumbent is responsible for supporting the successful conduct of clinical research studies. The person will have to collaborate with investigators and health care teams to assume responsibility for the overall patient management and coordination of several clinical studies at the RI-MUHC.
General Duties
Under the direction of Dr Alan Barkun, the incumbent:
• Helps in preparing and setting up materials and equipment,
• Assists in laboratory projects and experiments
• Assists in results recording,
• Assists in Grant application submissions,
• Collects and maintains data and enrollment records,
• Ensures compliance with protocol guidelines,
• Accomplishes any other administrative/clerical tasks as required by the immediate supervisor.
