Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior Architectural Designer to join our team! In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering architectural designs for various projects for both private and public sector clients across Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in UAE design codes and regulations, particularly within frameworks established by local ministries and government authorities such as DM, Trakhees, DDA, DEWA, FEWA, and other municipal offices. As a Junior Architect, you will work closely with senior architects and project managers to assist in design, planning, and execution of architectural projects. The candidate should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Being proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously is essential.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Assisting senior architects in developing architectural designs and plans.
2. Preparing detailed drawings, sketches, and 3D models using architectural software.
3. Participating in site visits and client meetings to gather project requirements.
4. Preparing and submitting drawings to local authorities to obtain building permits, ensuring compliance with regulations.
5. Supporting the preparation of project presentations and documentation.
6. Collaborating with project teams to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
7. Maintaining organized project files and documentation.
8. Ensuring all architectural designs adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards, with excellent knowledge of Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, and design codes.
9. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of design intent with technical specifications and practical implementation on-site.
10. Utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies and Revit software to enhance design accuracy and coordination among project stakeholders.
11. Coordinating all sub-consultant packages and other disciplines within the organization.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
2. A minimum of 2 years of architectural experience within a reputable architectural firm in the UAE.
3. Expertise in architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, ACC or similar applications, and familiarity with BIM practices.
4. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

1. Experience in preparing submission packages for NOC from authorities such as Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, and RTA is highly desirable.
