Overview

Our client is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and licensed Junior Architect to assist in design and development of innovative, sustainable, and functional architectural projects across various sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the conceptualization, design development, and execution of architectural projects from start to finish
  • Prepare detailed drawings, 3D models, and specifications using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
  • Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, sustainability standards, and accessibility guidelines
  • Oversee permitting and approvals process with municipal or provincial authorities
  • Assist in managing timelines, budgets, and resources across multiple projects
Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution
  • 1+ years of professional experience in architecture, including project design and delivery
  • Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools (e.g., Lumion, Enscape)
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian building codes, construction methods, and sustainable design principles
  • Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Experience in residential, commercial, institutional, or mixed-use developments (depending on client focus)
