A provincial healthcare provider in Regina is seeking an Application Support Specialist to provide critical support for technology applications. The ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Science, with at least one year of experience in IT/Health support environments. You will ensure optimal application performance and documentation while collaborating with various departments. A commitment to problem-solving and communication is essential. The role includes a salary range of $38.454 - $46.812 and an anticipated start date in October 2025.

Reporting to the Manager, Surgical and Tertiary Care Services, you will provide application support to multi-user, mission critical, integration technology applications. You will research and analyze issues with existing applications and/or transactions, impact of upgrades, new releases, patches, etc. on individual and integrated applications. You will monitor production integration technology systems to ensure optimal performance and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness. You must be willing to participate in the on-call 24/7 support strategy, including a rotation of support analysts to respond to Priority 1 service disruptions after hours.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a primary focus on documenting business processes, gathering and refining requirements, and translating them into clear, actionable specifications. The role may involve managing or coordinating small to medium-sized projects and collaborating with customers, vendors, and leadership to support strategic roadmaps and implement solutions that enhance healthcare across the province.
The knowledge and skills required for this position would be attained through the completion of a Degree in Computer Science or related area of study. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. In addition to educational requirements, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience working within an integrated IT/Health support environment and supporting applications.
