Job summary

David Aplin Recruiting is partnering with a Winnipeg-area organization to hire a Junior AI & Automation Analyst. You will explore opportunities to apply AI, automation, data and technology to streamline processes and connect systems.

This is a hands-on, ground-up role with scope to shape the function and select technologies. You'll work with teams across the company to identify opportunities, design practical AI solutions, and help automate manual data entry and document processing.

Qualifications

Foundational knowledge of Python and SQL.
Understanding of AI, machine learning concepts and LLMs.
Hands-on experience with AI, automation or technology projects.
Exposure to APIs, cloud platforms and system integrations.
Familiarity with Azure is an asset.
Experience with Power Automate or similar automation tools is an asset.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and operations teams to map processes and identify AI/automation opportunities.
Design, develop and implement AI and automation solutions.
Work with data, databases and existing business systems.
Develop dashboards and data-driven interfaces.
Test, troubleshoot and refine solutions; document processes.
