Job summary

A leading technology manufacturer based in Mississauga is seeking a Financial Administrator to enhance cash flow through timely invoicing and maintain vendor relations. The ideal candidate will have a college-level accounting diploma, 5 years of bookkeeping experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software. This full-time role supports month-end reporting and requires excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.

The Purpose of your role :

  • Improve cash flow with the timely and accurate invoicing of customer orders
  • Maintain good Vendor relations with the processing of supplier invoices
  • Contribute to the overall accuracy of Management reports by properly processing transactions through the ERP system

Your Daily tasks :

  • Maintain excellent communication with Business Partners
  • Match incoming payable invoices to purchase orders and record appropriately following company procedures and ensuring that authorization requirements are met and invoices are paid on time.
  • Support month end closing and reporting requirements
  • Support needs of Vice President of Finance and Accounting Manager with regards to account reconciliations and reporting
  • Upon notification of shipment of product to customers prepare invoices in a timely manner to ensure accurate reporting of sales and to assist with timely cash flow. Deliver invoices to customers ensuring that the details on the invoice are in accordance with the Customers purchase order. Follow processes established for the sales cycle ensuring authorization requirements are met.
  • File all source documents and file copy documents in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to the company values and represent KSB Canadas interest (e.g. overdue receivables warranty claims corporate image) in a professional and adequate way.
  • Qualifications :

  • College level accounting diploma or equivalent required
  • 5 years Bookkeeping or Administration experience desired
  • Computer literate knowledge of Microsoft Office products computerized accounting software
  • Good multi-tasker with the desire to develop and become an important part of a dynamic team
