PETRONAS Canada is seeking an early-career Accounting Analyst to join the Master Data Management and Capital Accounting team in Calgary. You will gain hands-on exposure to SAP while supporting project reporting and day-to-day processes.

You will work with Finance and operations to maintain master data, perform routine data-quality checks, and assist with month-end activities under guidance from the team. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

Formación

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Exposure to SAP is an asset.
• Oil and gas experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts and financial reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Create, update and review SAP master data including WBS elements, cost centers and JV data.
• Assist with month-end activities such as settlements and overhead allocations.
• Maintain asset and project information used by Capital Accounting and Financial Reporting.
• Support project setup, changes and completion activities with accurate data.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, procedures and governance records.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with Finance and operations to ensure accuracy of master data.
