Job description

ACCOUNTS PAYABLES MANAGEMENT

Be a gatekeeper to the Accounts Payable inbox.

Assist with creating the vendors in to SAP and accumulate all the required data.

Scan the invoices to SAP and create a workflow for the team (allocate invoices by vendors on SAP).

Download utility invoices for office and warehouse locations and be a point of contact for updates and registering with the utility companies.

Assist with managing the AP Inbox and responding to vendor inquiries in a timely manner.

Ensure invoices are sent out to the appropriate employees for approval and posted accurately in SAP.

GENERAL ACCOUNTING & SUPPORT

Prepare weekly and monthly bank account reconciliations.

Posting journal entries as required.

Support the Audit process (Q3 / Q4).

Be a backup to the team when necessary.

Aid in month end and year end closing.

Participate in weekly departmental and monthly finance meetings.

ASSIST WITH ONBOARDING PROCESS

Maintain the onboarding tracker and send welcome emails to the new employees.

Conduct employee 90-day check ins.

Execute employee off-boardings procedures.

Co-ordinate the monthly onboarding sessions for new employees looping in Managers.

PROJECTS AND PROCESS ENHANCEMENTS

Support system upgrades.

Implement automated processes and determine efficiencies.

Adapt and implement best practices.

SAP hot pack testing.

Qualifications :

Post-Secondary Education in Business (Accounting / Finance).

1 years of relevant accounting experience or internship experience.

Excellent attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Time management skills.

Strong presentation skills.

SAP Concur and / or other ERP experience an asset.

Knowledge of various commodity tax laws within Canada (GST / HST / QST / PST).

Fluent in English.
