Job summary

North Horizon Holdings Inc. is a Canadian institutional investor with a global investment footprint seeking a Junior Accountant, Coop/Intern to support the full accounting cycle and assist the senior financial analyst.

You will develop skills in bookkeeping, monthly close, and investment reporting, working in a fast-paced, collaborative team. This 8-month coop starts January 2027 and offers exposure to hedge funds, private equity, securities, and real estate.

Qualifications

• 3rd or 4th year student majoring in Accounting or any other Finance related fields.
• Advanced MS Office and excellent Excel skills
• Knowledge of Excel - VBA or Python language is an asset
• Self-starter who volunteers for new opportunities and projects
• Ability to work towards and meet agreed deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills
• Being fluent in both English and Chinese is considered as an asset.
• Available to begin by January 4, 2027, with an expected commitment of approximately 8 months

Responsibilities

About the role
