Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist with journal entry preparation for Accounts Payable.
  • Track banking records and perform reconciliations.
  • Review and file invoices, receipts, and expenses claims.

About the role

North Horizon Holdings Inc. is a Canadian Family Office with a global investment footprint. We are value-oriented investors in public markets, private equity, and real estate.

The junior accountant will have opportunities to expose to full accounting cycle and assist the senior financial analyst on recording business transactions and analyzing business performance.

What will you do
  • Working closely with our Accounts Payable team in preparing journal entry
  • Assist with tracking banking records and reconciliations
  • Reviewing and filing the invoices, receipts, vendor payments and expenses claims
What you need to succeed
Must-haves
  • Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of a post-secondary program, majoring in Accounting or a related field
  • Available to begin the role in January 2026
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Adaptable and able to work efficiently in a rapidly changing business landscape
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to speak Mandarin and read Chinese is an asset
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
