Job summary

BDO Canada's Calgary office is looking for a Junior Accountant to join the Canadian Tax team in September 2027. You’ll efficiently prepare tax returns for a variety of clients and contribute to tax compliance projects while building strong client relationships.

You are pursuing an accounting degree/diploma and value teamwork; you’ll develop through CPA designation support and learning opportunities within a supportive, people-first culture.

Our Opportunity

Our Calgary office is looking for a Junior Accountant to join the Canadian Tax team in September 2027.

  • Efficiently utilize technical knowledge to prepare tax returns for a variety of clients
  • Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments
  • Assist with researching tax issues and documenting this research in tax memos or client letters
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions
  • Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
