Job description

At JDass Corp., we are looking for Junior Accountant who is responsible for managing all financial transactions of our business operations.

Junior Accountant will work closely with a team to manage financial functions, including from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets, accounts payable/ receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, audits and inventory management.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate financial records

Process and reconcile daily sales transactions

Prepare and submit timely financial reports to management

Monitor and track inventory levels and costs

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Monitor QuickBooks and ensure payments are being posted/reconciled in a timely manner

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations

Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities

Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and insights

Provide support during tax preparation and audits

Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting practices

Requirements and skills

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.

Proven experience as an accountant.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
