Job description

At JDass Corp., we are looking for Junior Accountant who is responsible for managing all financial transactions of our business operations.

Junior Accountant will work closely with a team to manage financial functions, including from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets, accounts payable/ receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, audits and inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records
  • Process and reconcile daily sales transactions
  • Prepare and submit timely financial reports to management
  • Monitor and track inventory levels and costs
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Monitor QuickBooks and ensure payments are being posted/reconciled in a timely manner
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and insights
  • Provide support during tax preparation and audits
  • Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting practices

Requirements And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an accountant.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
