A major event venue in Ottawa is seeking a Junior Accountant to manage financial transactions and assist with bank reconciliations. This full-time position offers a salary range of $45,000 to $48,800 and the flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Accounting or a related field and have strong organizational and communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office is essential, and bilingualism is an asset.
Reporting to the Controller, the Junior Accountant will focus on providing financial and administrative services within the Finance Department. This includes processing and monitoring a high volume of transactions within a fast-paced environment.
This full-time, permanent role has an annual salary range of $45,000 to $48,800, with 100% employer-paid benefits. The final compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications. This is a replacement position and offers flexibility to work in a hybrid work arrangement.
