Key Responsibilities
  1. Record accounts payable functions, including coding, posting, and reconciling vendor accounts.
  2. Prepare inventory tracking sheets for F&B outlets.
  3. Process and reconcile prepaid and accrual expense journal entries monthly.
  4. Assist in month-end closing procedures.
  5. Provide accounting and administrative support to the financial team.
  6. Assist with organizing and filing month-end journal entries.
  7. Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in accounting preferred.
  • At least one year of accounting experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, tax, legislation, and resources.
  • Experience with accounting software; Great Plains preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, data-based software, email, and web browsers.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information tactfully.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple priorities.
