Junior Accountant

Langley, BC | Full-Time, Onsite

$45,000 – $50,000 per annum

I'm working exclusively with a fast-growing and highly reputable design-build contractor in Langley that delivers a range of commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects across Western Canada. With a strong pipeline and a collaborative office culture, they’re now looking to add a Junior Accountant to their finance team.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated accounting professional to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic construction environment. You’ll be involved in full-cycle accounting support and have the chance to grow with a forward-thinking, high-performing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports
• Maintain general ledger entries and assist with journal postings
• Help ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed
• Liaise with project teams to gather and verify financial data

What We’re Looking For:

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1 year of experience in Accountancy & Finance
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
