Responsibilities

• Assist in completing month-end accounting functions, including journal entries
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation of accounts
• Load financial data from ERP to accounting systems weekly and monthly
• Prepare monthly expenditure reports for department leaders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with business planning and quarterly forecasts
• Maintain accurate tooling and A/R subledgers, including reconciliations
• Handle activities related to capital and other assets
• Operate in a safe manner, adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Comply with C-TPAT/PIP requirements
• Conduct business ethically in line with Magna's Code of Conduct
• Report accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions
• Adhere to quality standards and the IATF16949 standard
• Promote the Employee Charter and follow company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA designation or working towards it is an asset

Experience:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in the automotive industry is an asset
