The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 10+ years of industrial experience, and fluency in French and English is an asset.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the industrial sector or in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in French and English is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret, understand, and comply with technical drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with all departments and act as the main point of contact to ensure collaboration between stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards applicable to equipment.
  • Manage subcontracted engineering services, including planning, coordination, and scheduling.
  • Develop and monitor the overall project schedule and manage issues to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings and engage all stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement solutions to issues encountered during the project.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to the management committee.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers throughout development projects.
  • Ensure the quality of technical documentation for RFPs, including specs and standards.
  • Provide methodological support to project managers during subcontracting processes.

We are supporting our client, a major player in the Canadian aerospace industry, in the search for a Tooling Project Lead to coordinate and oversee tooling and equipment-related projects in a multidisciplinary industrial environment.

  • Lead cross-functional meetings and ensure the engagement of all stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement solutions to issues encountered throughout the project.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to the management committee.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout development projects.
  • Ensure the quality of technical documentation used for requests for proposals, including specifications, work standards, and appendices.
  • Provide methodological support and guidance to project managers throughout the subcontracting process.
Qualifications
