Responsibilities
  • Suggest assembly procedures for electronic components of simple complexity.
  • Write Routing Slips according to the approved processes in effect for the assemblies/parts under his control.
  • Transfer Routing Slips into work orders and track them during production.
  • Ensure traceability is captured in the work order during the production phase.
  • Maintain production schedule by identifying variances and proposing contingency plans.
  • Assist assemblers by performing detailed reviews during production (production milestones, final verification).
  • Integrate non-conformance rework procedures (NCR, DIN, SNAG, DR, TNR, ECN) into work orders and follow up as required.
  • Assist senior technologists in their duties by supporting ongoing project activities.
  • Collaborate in maintaining the efficiency of the production laboratories and suggest improvements.
  • Make sure that the work is performed according to internal procedures and in compliance with our occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Performs other discipline related duties.
Required Qualifications
  • Diploma of college studies in Electronic Technology or the equivalent.
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of production techniques and electronic assembly processes.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic assembly tools, manufacturing processes and machining tools.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software and one ERP database
  • Fluent in both oral and written French. Knowledge of English is an asset (Contact with customers outside Québec).

Successful candidates must obtain and hold SECRET status level II, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
