What will you do?

You will work alongside and shadow a Senior System Specialist Technician, performing tasks such as:

  • Wiring checkout, system start-ups, programming using commissioning tools.
  • Creating graphics, database management.
  • Following project schedules and work packages, maintaining communication on project status.
  • Representing Siemens professionally when communicating with customers.
  • Keeping site files, shop drawings, and documentation up to date.
  • Adhering to safety rules, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Additional responsibilities include material tracking, delivery, and project documentation support.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Enrolled or recent graduate in electrical, mechanical, control engineering, or a related field.
  • Willingness to gain practical skills in building systems and standards.
  • Self-motivated, calm under pressure.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Windows applications, including MS Office.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, MSTP is an asset.
  • Assets include knowledge of building mechanical systems, relevant training/certification, understanding of Building Code, and Siemens building automation systems.
