Spirit Ridge is currently looking for Restaurant Servers(Full Time and Part Time) for our various outlets including the signature restaurant, The Bear, The Fish, The Root & The Berry to join our dynamic, unique and diverse team! What You Do

As a Server you are responsible to serve requested food and beverages to guests dining in the restaurant or in the hotel’s banquet facilities, providing prompt, courteous, and friendly service in every situation. Servers should be fully aware of all menu offerings with the ability to make recommendations to guests. Servers will additionally assist bussers with table set-up and clean-up as necessary to ensure service is prompt. Out South Okanagan exclusive wine list has received a lot of media attention and our restaurant has awards from Tripadvisor as well as top 100 patios in Canada from Open Table.

Other duties include:

  • Consistently offer prompt, professional, friendly, and engaging service
  • Demonstrate a professional and positive image to guests and colleagues at all times, including maintaining a high standard of professional appearance and hygiene.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet event setups when needed
  • Offer helpful guidance with menu offerings, responding knowledgeably to questions or finding out the answer
  • Efficiently complete prep and side work to enable focused guest care and maintain an orderly, clean station
  • Periodically check in to ensure guest needs are met, then graciously present an accurate check and collect payment at the conclusion of the meal.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies

What You Need

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work as a team player in a busy restaurant or banquet floor
  • Multi-tasker who doesn’t crack under pressure
  • A suave sales style of selling Food and Beverage to customers
  • Able to be on your feet all day
  • Previous experience as a Food and Beverage server
  • A polished style of service
  • Able to work in the heat
  • BC Serving it Right or another province's equivalent of responsible beverage service certification
