Job description

All successful candidates are required to reside within commuting distance of our Langford/Victoria office location.

Salary Range: $62,500 - $80,500

Purpose:

As part of the Plexxis development team, you will design, develop, and implement products and services that modernize the specialty contracting trades.

This role offers the opportunity to work on and develop innovative applications for our customers’ existing data, as well as creating cutting-edge products that could revolutionize the construction industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with designers, programmers, and internal and external customers to analyze business requirements and create value across Plexxis solutions.
2. Learn all aspects of the Plexxis ERP system.
3. Design, develop, test, optimize, and implement programs within Oracle Forms/Reports, including user interfaces, external application & data source integration, and reports.
4. Analyze information, applying experience and system knowledge to maintain, diagnose, and resolve issues to meet or exceed customer requirements.
5. Investigate, analyze, and document reported defects.
6. Provide training and support to internal customers.
7. Troubleshoot issues during and after implementation.
8. Proactively recognize and resolve issues efficiently.
9. Assist in developing and correcting key payroll and job costing reports.
10. Work closely with internal customers and developers to create and deliver solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Interest in data and technology.
2. Practical experience in customer care-related work, with a genuine enjoyment of helping people.
3. Ability to develop positive relationships with coworkers.
4. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
5. Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
