A recruitment firm in Metro Vancouver is seeking a Recruitment Specialist. This hybrid role requires proactive sourcing and foundational recruitment experience, ideally in financial institutions. The candidate should have strong public speaking skills and be comfortable attending various career events. The company emphasizes diversity and inclusion, providing opportunities for career growth.
Is this role remote?: Hybrid – current average 2x on-site working in office per month – may change. Recruiters are also required to attend career fairs and events (possible on evenings or weekends – must be available to attend, which is an on-site need – lower mainland). There are usually several events per month.

Must-Have Skills:
•2-4 years of recruitment experience minimum – proactive sourcing strategies and headhunting
•Public speaking and presentations skills – Delivering info sessions
•Basic knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices and other work-related activities
•Basic knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection and training
•Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning
•Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
•Experience using computer software skills (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint)
Nice-to-Have Skills:
•Recruiting in the financial institution space
•Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter / sourcing on LinkedIn Recruiter
•Experience working with executive leadership teams
•Experience working with Workday (HR platform)
•Fluent Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills is an asset
