Qualifications

Jr Production Planner (12-month contract)

Code: MMPC / 23271

Salary: $25 - $35 per hour

This position reports to the Manager of Production Planning and Control (PPC). The main responsibilities include coordinating and expediting work flow and materials within the shop for jet engine overhaul and repair. Duties involve sequencing, prioritizing, monitoring production activities, creating reports and KPI data, inputting and outputting data from ERP systems, organizing and chairing meetings, and supporting process improvement initiatives. This is a junior role with opportunities for training and development.

Duration: 12 months

Your Tasks:

  • Support planning and coordination of production activities across multiple work areas in collaboration with senior PPC Coordinators.
  • Monitor maintenance progress and develop recovery plans as needed.
  • Prepare and communicate progress and status reports.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and support departments like Supply Chain and Engineering to meet production targets.
  • Identify work stoppages or delays and consult with senior PPC Coordinators for recovery or revised timelines.
  • Escalate process issues to management and suggest solutions.
  • Participate in process improvement projects such as Lean Management and CIP.
  • Develop skills as a Production Control Coordinator.
