Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day UX Team Support - As an Associate Director, you will be supporting the team on a daily basis, providing feedback on their projects, connecting the dots, and strengthening our design principles.
- Talent Development - Working as a support to all designers who work at the company, you will coach, provide feedback, inspire, and train to help them grow their skills and talent.
- Brand Development & Management Support - Working with the marketing team, the Associate Design Director will leverage principles of visual communication design.
- Design System Creation & Governance - Working with the Design System Manager and Engineering teams, the Associate Design Director will continue being accountable for AXLE, a Design System that will increase the team's productivity while improving the consistency and quality of the user's experience.
- Employer Branding & Employee Experience Design - Working with the People & Culture team, the Associate Design Director and Operations will integrate the refreshed brand identity into the recruitment assets, interview processes, and onboarding and training experiences.
Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge of design tools like Figma, Sketch, Invision, Miro, Adobe CC
- 5+ years of design leadership experience
- 10+ years of UX/UI Design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of working in software companies, experience of working with product teams
- Facilitation experience is a bonus
- High sense of autonomy, community and humility
