Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines, assembling large, complex data sets, and ensuring the availability of data to meet company requirements and business needs.

Day-to-Day Activities :

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to support increasing data volume and complexity.
• Build and support data needs for predictive modeling and GenAI applications.
• Work with APIs to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, including both structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with data scientists to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity.
• Document processes and maintain clear and concise technical documentation.

Must Haves Skills :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• X years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in data engineering languages and technologies, such as SQL, Python, and ETL frameworks.
• Experience working with APIs to extract data from various sources.
• Familiarity with both structured (databases) and unstructured data (JSON, XML).
• Familiarity with machine learning methods.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of data modeling and storage solutions for both structured and unstructured data.
• Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery or Azure Data Lake is preferred.
